As the founder of Toro Recruitment, I have overseen the evolution of the company since it’s inception in 2015. We’ve grown from strength to strength and have set our sights very high: by 2030 we want to be the number one Utilities and Energy Recruitment company in the UK!
It’s been a personal mission of mine to develop an internal training program that enables Toro’s Consultants to thrive; it’s essential they know their industry and sub-sectors comprehensively and keep up to date with latest projects, products and technologies.
It’s our ambition to have 30 trained Consultants in Utilities and Energy by 2022 and 60 by 2025 – for this to come to fruition, we heavily rely on our great team of external Consultants who deliver training for recruitment (through an External Trainer), performance enhancement and mental wellbeing training (delivered by a Doctor of Psychology) and strategical advice from an experienced and thought-provoking ex-recruitment company entrepreneur.

Worst Career Moment
Being hit in the ribs with a giant bouncing elastic ball whilst on the phone to a client. It was excruciating! Luckily the call lasted a while, enabling both the pain and my anger to subside prior to having a chat to my offending colleague!
Best Career Moment
Delivering a large project for the largest Utilities company in the UK.
We were fortunate enough to beat several of the largest recruitment companies in the UK in the tender process!

I am a big sports enthusiast and will watch almost anything on Sky Sports, Rugby is my true love though!
