Fracking continues apace despite more renewable forms of energy being readily available

The UK High Court’s decision to allow fracking in Lancashire to proceed may be premature. Many people are concerned about the effect on water supplies and localised pollution, especially given that cleaner and safer forms of energy – such as Wind, Solar and Wave – are available.

Burning carbon is becoming more and more unpopular and unsustainable, so expect the backlash against fracking and coal, as sources of energy, to grow.
